ABOUT OBASIS

Technology entered the home.

It never truly learned how to live there.

We reconsider the everyday technology that has become part of home life, but has not yet been designed with the care a home deserves.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

A home is not a temporary use case

Digital devices help us work, communicate, rest, and move through the most ordinary moments of the day. They solve a function — but rarely answer a more important question:

How should a piece of technology exist in the home, when it is seen, touched, and used every day?

The objects in a home live alongside furniture, materials, light, and daily habits. They do more than perform tasks. Together, they shape the order and feeling of everyday life.

We believe technology in the home deserves the same level of consideration.

OUR FOUNDATION

Technology should naturally belong in the home

At Obasis, we care not only about what a product does, but where it belongs, how it is touched, how it participates in repeated daily actions — and whether it still feels appropriate in a room when it is not being used.

Our goal is not simply to make electronic products look more like furniture. We begin with life at home, and reconsider the form, materials, interaction, and presence of technology from that perspective.

A DAILY RITUAL

A daily ritual with physical weight

A meaningful ritual does not require more steps. Often, it is simply one clear action, repeated in the same place over time.

Keys placed in a tray when arriving home.

A bedside lamp switched off before sleep.

A book returned to its place after reading.

STILL is designed to create an equally natural action for digital life. Placing the phone on STILL does more than begin charging — it marks the moment when a device that constantly connects us to the outside world returns to a fixed and quiet place.

We are not trying to tell people how they should use their phones, and we do not define STILL as a tool for digital detox. We simply believe:

Digital life also needs a place to land.

STILL is our first answer.

It is only the beginning.

We are reconsidering how technology enters the home, how it lives alongside people, and how it can become a quieter, more natural, and more enduring part of everyday life.
